Edmonton Chamber of Commerce
With nearly 3,000 corporate and organizational members, the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is “the” voice of business in the Greater Edmonton area. Originating as the Edmonton Board of Trade in 1889, the Edmonton Chamber has proudly represented the citizens and business community of our city for over 116 years.
Today, our directors and committee members include some of the most respected business, legal and academic leaders in the region. Our policy positions are regularly adopted by the Alberta and Canadian Chambers of Commerce and frequently form the basis of new government legislation. In 2004 we proudly unveiled the new World Trade Centre Edmonton business complex and Visitor Information Centre on Jasper Avenue. We are devoted to building productive relations with local leaders and our northern neighbours in the ongoing development of regional resources and new business opportunities in the Greater Edmonton Area and beyond.
